Innovation Workshops

Let's Innovate!

On Fridays and Saturdays, SCI offers public workshops in the Innovation Lab!

Workshops focus on hands-on skills – from sewing to coding – and are open to all ages. (Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.)

One-hour workshops are offered on Fridays and Saturdays at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Registration is $5 per person (with paid SCI admission) and space is first-come, first-served. Sign up at the Box Office on the day of your visit!

The Innovation Lab features technology and tools that ignite interest in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) and engages visitors in the core principles of the Makers Movement: creativity, innovation and problem solving. The space is used for hands-on learning, including workshops, camps and teacher professional development.
