    Daily Activities

    Test your engineering skills with building challenges that use Imagination Playground and Rigamajig. Try hands-on activities and learn about engineering careers with cart demonstrations. Explore Brick by Brick, the exhibit that features large-scale structures engineered entirely of LEGO bricks!


    • Saturday, February 15 - See robotics demonstrations from the "Enginerds" FIRST Tech Challenge Team 9356!
    • Sunday, February 16 - Check out LEGO structures designed by members of the Iowa LEGO Users Group.
    • Wednesday, February 19 - The Homeschool Science Series highlights two influentional women in computer science and engineering, Ada Lovelace and Grace Hopper.
    • Friday, February 21 - Just for the 21+ crowd, the theme for this month's Mixology Night is "Engineering: VR & IRL." Build using Imagination Playground and Rigamajig, participate in a Quick Bricks program challenge or try on some virtual reality goggles and learn how the ISU Virtual Reality Applications Center uses VR to enhance the productivity and creativity of people.
    • Friday, February 21, and Saturday, February 22 - Try your hand at 3D printing in Innovation Lab workshops held at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Workshops cost $5 per person and are open to all ages. Register at the Box Office!
  • Here’s your chance to help a WHO-HD Channel 13 meteorologist give today’s live forecast as you learn about weather! Subject to change due to severe weather or technical difficulties.
