Youth Programs

Youth Programs

SCI’s youth programs inspire the next generation of STEM professionals through age-appropriate, hands-on discovery.

Programs

  • Girls in Science Initiative

Research shows that while women are attending and completing college at higher rates than ever before, they represent only 26% of the college-educated workforce in science and engineering occupations, according to the National Science Board. Through our Girls in Science events, girls have opportunities to meet and interact with female role models and learn about their careers.

  • Pint Size Science

Pint Size Science classes provide stepping stones for early learners to explore science topics and help parents/caregivers feel more confident being a STEM coach for their child. Developmentally appropriate classes are held for little learners ages 3–5 years old.

  • Homeschool Programs

SCI partners with homeschoolers to provide experiences and programming that supplement their science curriculum.
