    Join us for a 5-week journey where curiosity meets agriculture! From seeds and soil to bugs and robots, learners will dig in, experiment, and explore how science and technology shape the future of farming.

    Each week brings a new theme packed with discovery, creativity, and hands-on fun!

    October 9: Farms of the Future - Robots, sensors, and drones, oh my! Experiment with the cutting-edge tools farmers use to make agriculture more efficient.

    Workshops are held for children, ages 3–5 years old with a caring adult, from 9:15–10:15 AM on Thursdays in October.

    October 9: Farms of the Future - Robots, sensors, and drones, oh my! Experiment with the cutting-edge tools farmers use to make agriculture more efficient.

    Workshops are held for students, ages 5-14 years old (Kindergarten - 8th grade), from 11:00 AM-Noon on Thursdays in October. Registration includes two concurrent workshops, one for youth and one for their parents/caregivers, exploring the day's theme.

  • Locate constellations and planets, and hear myths of the night sky in this live planetarium program. Program and location subject to change.

  • Have you ever wondered what Snippy the Snapping Turtle eats? Come check out a feeding demonstration of one of SCI’s most ravenous reptiles! The snapping turtle feeding may be too intense for some visitors.

  • Get chills and thrills from cryogenic demonstrations.

  • Investigate the world of electrons and electricity for a hair-raising experience!

  • This show reveals dark matter's earliest clues, covering the astral choreography of galactic orbits as well as sensitive detectors hidden deep underground in ancient gold mines. Narrated by Tilda Swinton. Program and location subject to change.
