Animal Heroes - Saturday, November 4 (10:00 AM-Noon)

From ape astronauts to sled dogs, animals have really done some amazing things. We will look at the stories of these amazing animal heroes.

STEM Learning Goals: Junior Veterinarians will learn how animals have been heroes to people and recreate some of their amazing feats using robots.

Cats, Dogs, and People - Saturday, November 11 (10:00 AM-Noon)

This session focuses on how domesticated animals evolved alongside human beings and how their behavior is linked to us. Come investigate the special relationship that cats, dogs and people have shared throughout history!

STEM Learning Goals: Junior Veterinarians will have an increased understanding of the shared history of cats and dogs, and how humans may have influenced the evolution of cats and dogs.

Breed Basics - Saturday, November 18 (10:00 AM-Noon)

What is a breed? How does it differ from a species? Do wolves and tigers have anything in common with cats and dogs? We will dive into these questions in this STEM session

STEM Learning Goals: Junior Veterinarians will have an increased understanding of phenotypes, breeds, and genetics as it relates to cats and dogs.
