Hours

The Science Center is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  

School/Group Traffic

Note to SCI Visitors: During the spring and summer, SCI sees increased school/group attendance, which could impact your visit.  Schools/groups will be exploring the Science Center and will depart by 2:00 pm most days. 

Admission Prices

General admission tickets are $17 for adults and children ages 2-12; seniors ages 65 and over are $15; Children under 2 years and SCI members are free. We recommend reserving tickets in advance at www.sciowa.org/gettickets.

Note: For those receiving State or Federal assistance through SNAP Benefits or have an EBT card, please show the documentation/card to the staff at the admission desk when purchasing tickets for a reduced rate of 50 percent off each ticket.
